The emergence and the establishment of the National Authority to ensure the quality of education and accreditation:

Decision was made by Mr. / Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, President of the Republic in the eighth of November 2007 for the establishment of the National Authority to ensure the quality of education and accreditation after its approval by the People's Assembly (Act No. 82 of 2006), which states that this body is independent and should have a public legal, and keep track of the President [color:af71=#000]Council of Ministers, and will be based in the city of Cairo, and the Authority to establish branches in the provinces. </FONT>Decision was also made Mr. / President of the Republic No. 25 of 2007 issuing the executive regulations of Law No. 82 of 2006 establishing the National Authority to ensure the quality of education and certification.

According to Article (14) of the Law on Establishment of the Authority shall have a board of directors to be formed by decree of the President of the Republic and consists of fifteen members. Among education experts who have sufficient expertise in the field of performance evaluation and quality assurance of education in all fields, do not contradict the interests of any of them with the objectives of the Authority. Appointed by resolution of the members of the Council President and three Vice-Presidents, one of the affairs of higher education and other affairs of the pre-university education and the third for Education Azhari. And extends the duration of the membership of the Board of Directors for four years, renewable for a similar one.
